Multimedia Chair

Role: Responsible for producing professional photography/videography services for NOMA|nw to capture and document high quality content for the Chapter’s Marketing Committee.

Responsibilities:

• Provide high-resolution photos/videos from chapter programming to be used for social media campaigns, website updates, annual reports, and membership/sponsorship recruitment.  

• Create a visual record of organization’s activities and impact 

• Collaborate with Marketing Committee to build a professional and cohesive brand identity 

• Collaborate with other committees for scheduling of chapter events and initiatives  

Time Commitment / Accountability:

• Approximately 4-6 hrs per month, with highs/lows depending on season 

  • Attendance to all major chapter events 

  • Monthly Board Meeting – 1.5 hrs In-person (virtual available when needed) 

  • Monthly Marketing Committee Check Ins – Est. 1 hour/mo (subject to committee schedule agreements) 

  • Quarterly Open Chapter Meetings (2 hrs In-Person) 

  • Annual Board Retreat – One weekend in November (Fri-Sun, In-Person) 

• Shall be directly accountable to the Marketing Director   

Qualifications:

• Expertise in visual storytelling through imagery and videography that communicates NOMA|nw’s mission and programmatic impact 

• Expertise with photo/video editing software such as Photoshop and Premiere Pro 

• Expertise in obtaining proper consent from subjects, respecting privacy, and understanding image usage rights and copyright law 

• Flexibility to attend as many Chapter events as possible. (Note: This position isn’t required to stay for the entirety of each event).
