Join NOMA|nw on Monday Jan 19th for our 2026 MLK Day of Service! In partnership with United Way King County, participants will work with a group of college students from southern Africa who are visiting Seattle for a month as part of the Study of the US Institute on Civic Engagement program funded by the Department of State. 

Help young leaders create change in their communities at home (Angola, Botswana, Mozambique, South Africa, Zimbabwe) by helping develop their project ideas for community action plans, participating in mock interviews, and sharing your experiences with community engaged design. Volunteer service is followed by a networking mixer with professionals from different fields, food and drinks are provided. Spaces are limited, sign up today!
